You will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; service split AC units and VRF systems; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch.
