Formwork carpenter — Claiborne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Claiborne County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Part-time with flexible hours.
