Laundry presser — Nash County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Nash County, North Carolina. The job is in a busy laundry. Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
