Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Decatur County, Georgia. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
