Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Dickinson County, Kansas. On the job you will handle: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
