Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Whitley County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
