Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • A good head for heights and steady balance The role involves: • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
