System formwork carpenter • Ouachita Parish, Louisiana

Now hiring: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. You will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to read formwork and structural drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
