Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Lorain County, Ohio. Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
