CO2 welder • Bibb County, Georgia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Bibb County, Georgia. Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
