GTAW welder • Harmon County, Oklahoma

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Harmon County, Oklahoma. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits.
