Metal caster — Zaki

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Zaki, Bauchi State. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day to day you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around ₦85,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
