Mechanical press operator — Jefferson County

Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Jefferson County, Kansas. The job is at an auto components factory. On a typical shift you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred $6,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
