Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in Butler County, Kentucky. The role involves sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher 4+ years on the tools preferred.
