Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Webster County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
