Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Daggett County, Utah. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. What we are looking for: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
