Argon welder wanted in Powhatan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Powhatan County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 4+ years on the tools preferred.
