Vacancy available: laundry presser (Florida)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Levy County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Give each garment a final press before packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
