Garment presser — Wayne County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Wayne County, Nebraska. Day to day you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases We offer $26 per hour plus benefits.
