Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a garment factory. Day to day you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience.
