Turning centre operator wanted in Mariposa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Mariposa County, California. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Day to day you will set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; write and edit G-code programs at the control; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
