Press machine operator — Houston County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in Houston County, Alabama. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges The role involves set up and start the machine as per the job card; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
