Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat cutter in Christian County, Kentucky. The job is in a supermarket meat department. The role involves break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; season and marinate meat on request; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
