Head baker — Barry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in Barry County, Missouri. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving On the job you will handle: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Score the top of loaves before baking • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Six days a week, one day off.
