Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Ohio County, Indiana. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
