Immediate opening: we are hiring a line cook in Thurston County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. You should have: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Day-to-day duties: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
