Heavy equipment operator (dozer) — Caroline County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Caroline County, Maryland. You will be based on a road construction project. On a typical shift you will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. What we are looking for: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
