Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Todd County, Minnesota. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
