Steam press operator — Greene County

Join our team: we are hiring a steam press operator in Greene County, Iowa. You will work in a busy laundry. Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
