Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Charlotte County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC The role involves: • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
