Great opportunity: incoming goods inspector (Ohio)

Join our team: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Lorain County, Ohio. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing On a typical shift you will record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
