Steel fixer wanted in Holmes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Holmes County, Mississippi. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Day to day you will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Part-time with flexible hours.
