Concrete pump mate • Polk County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Polk County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
