Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Henry County, Iowa. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site On the job you will handle: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels Performance bonus on top of base pay.
