Stamping press operator • Giles County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Giles County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses 2+ years on the tools preferred.
