Tig welder — Seward County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Seward County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
