Heavy equipment operator wanted in Eastland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Eastland County, Texas. You will be based at a landfill site. On the job you will handle: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
