Gas commissioning technician • Champaign County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Champaign County, Ohio. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
