Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Elko County, Nevada. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. On a typical shift you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
