Brick and block layer wanted in Prince Edward County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Prince Edward County, Virginia. You will work at a residential building site. On a typical shift you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
