Ladle pourer — Butler County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Butler County, Pennsylvania. You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
