We are recruiting: we are hiring a halal butcher in Powder River County, Montana. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
