Immediate opening: die-casting operator (Indiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Knox County, Indiana. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
