Health and safety supervisor — Houston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Houston County, Texas. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
