Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Northwest Hills Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety We offer $140 per day plus benefits.
