Lift mechanic • Thurston County, Washington

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Thurston County, Washington. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $10,250 per project plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
