Fusing press operator wanted in Scott County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Scott County, Illinois. You will work at a garment factory. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Give each garment a final press before packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics Full-time, day shift.
