Site carpenter — Chautauqua County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site carpenter in Chautauqua County, New York. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent The role involves: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Overtime paid at a premium rate.
