Gas commissioning technician — Dandume

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Dandume, Katsina State. You will work in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Six days a week, one day off.
