Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Burke County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Burke County, North Carolina. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop The role involves glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
